Our Story

A gathering place became something more.

For Lora and Ron Cork, UnCorked Creek grew from a place to welcome friends into a place to celebrate life's biggest moments.

Why UnCorked Creek?

The name begins with the people who made the place: the Cork family.

It started with friends.

Lora and Ron first shared this Skagit Valley property as a place for people close to them to gather. Friends began imagining weddings and other celebrations here, and over time the idea of a venue became real.

Ron designed and built much of the gathering space. Windfallen timber from the property helped shape its character, connecting the structures to the surrounding trees and land.

Today, they invite others to make memories here too—with the pond, woods, and spaces they have cared for as the backdrop.
